AI Content Approval Checklist: Facts, Scope, and Useful Answers
Before publishing a draft, ask whether a buyer could make a better decision after reading it. Correct grammar and repeated keywords do not establish factual accuracy or usefulness.
Confirm the decision the page supports
Name the reader, the service, the problem, and the next action. Compare the draft with existing pages. If it repeats the same answer under a different city or keyword, improve the existing resource or consolidate the overlap.
A price question needs scope and cost variables. A compatibility question needs product and account requirements. A troubleshooting question needs a diagnostic path. One generic promotional paragraph cannot do all three jobs.
Check every business claim
- Do the name, phone, services, hours, and coverage agree with approved business information?
- Are prices current, properly labeled, and clear about recurring or outside costs?
- Are project examples genuine and permissioned, or unmistakably labeled as hypothetical?
- Can an owner support numerical claims with an actual measurement record?
- Are important limitations and exclusions easy to find?
Mark unanswered questions for the approver. Do not fill them with plausible claims about awards, clients, local offices, or results.
Check the publication mechanics
Use a descriptive title, one preferred URL, readable headings, and contextual links to the next relevant resource. Structured data should describe visible material. Test the page on a phone and confirm that contact links and forms lead somewhere useful.
Content should be the same useful explanation for a person and a crawler. Hidden keywords and pages built only to funnel nearly identical searches do not improve the buyer's experience.
Approve, measure, and maintain
Record who approved the factual content and who will update it when an offer changes. Review useful inquiries and confusion reported by real readers. Do not equate more pages or an AI-readable file with more customers.
See the content workflow service for scope and the conversion checklist for the request path. A finished draft becomes useful business content only after its facts and next steps are dependable.
